River Island
Merced River in Yosemite ebbs and flows and sometimes leaves an island in the middle with sand and few trees.
A bridge not too far!
Yosemite and the Merced River. This bridge is by the beautiful Ahwahnee hotel.

Secret Cove - Lake Tahoe
This cove is not readily available unless you hike down to the water from the main highway. It is hidden and the hike is medium strenuous with a good downhill hike just before the lake. A gorgeous and serene place.

Antelope Canyon Apparition
Ghostly shadows abound in the canyons. You see these apparitions when the light hits them, dancing in front of visitors. The guides have something to do with awakening these ghosts.
Antelope Canyon: Heart Canyon
This is my favorite of the canyon images. See the heart shape in the canyon wall?
Path of Light - Antelope Canyon
The light in the canyon leads you further into the canyon in one mesmerizing path of deep orange, purple, and red colors not readily seen by the eye but through the eye of the camera.
Mt. Whitney
High Sierras just outside of Lone Pine lies this grand mountain that hikers love. We drove to the portal but did not make it - the narrow and twisting road kept us chickens from reaching it. The view is still spectacular. In mid-October the Aspens are almost spent but you can still see the patches of yellow/orange trees in the ravines.
